I am participating in honor and memory of my many family members who have battled cancer.  My husband's family has several family members, including him, who have the BRCA1 gene mutation, and I am participating to help make people aware of genetic mutations and the importance of knowing your family history so that you can make informed decisions regarding your healthcare.
